The Mark 6 High Explosive Smart Bounce (HESB) Grenade is a type of high explosive bouncing fragmentation grenade manufactured by Armat Battlefield Systems.[1] It was predominantly employed by the United States Colonial Marine Corps.

The Mark 6 is primarily designed to be fired from the M95 Grenade Launcher. Instead of a metal casing, the cartridge consists of an elastic metamaterial exterior allowing it to bounce on hardened surfaces around corners and obstructions, the grenade exterior solidifies to a brittle solid in response to an electric pulse millisecond before detonation and explode into a cloud of lacerating fragments. However if the grenade encounter a "soft" surface, like human flesh or Xenomorph chitin, it will detonate instantly.[1]
