Captain Marcel Apone was a member of the United States Colonial Marine Corps and the commanding officer of the USCM warship Il Conde. In 2179, Apone embarked on a search for Weyland-Yutani Corporation researcher Michael Bishop in the hopes of discovering the truth behind the fate of his brother Alexander Apone.
