The Magellan–class J Scientific Exploratory Vessel was a model of long–range spacecraft manufactured by the Weyland-Yutani Corporation.

Adapted from the frame of the Heliades-class J Scientific Exploratory Vessel manufactured by Weyland Corp, the development of the Magellan–class SEV was overseen by Michael Bishop and undertaken by the Geholgod Institute. The ship was equipped with a DA/UT/UR 2200 A.I. and could accomodate between six and eighteen members of crew.
