The M41AE3 Heavy Pulse Rifle was a pulse–action support weapon manufactured by Armat Battlefield Systems and primarily used by the United States Colonial Marine Corps as a squad heavy automatic weapon. The M41AE3 was designed to enhance the firepower of rifle teams and could fire faster and carry more ammunition than its predecessors, though it lacked the ability to fire grenades.

Essentially a heavily modified version of the United States Colonial Marine Corps' venerable M41A Pulse Rifle and a successor to the M41AE2 Heavy Pulse Rifle, the M41E3 was tailored to cope with the role of squad automatic weapon and was thus equipped with a larger magazine and boasted a higher rate of fire; however, its attributes came at the cost of the under–slung grenade launcher used on its famed "older cousin". The M41E3's additional firepower made it mar kedly popular with the USCM; indeed, Marines often opted for having more than one such heavy pulse rifle per standard fireteam.[1] It was succeeded in 2199 by the heavier M41E4 Heavy Pulse Rifle.[2]
