The Armat M41A2 Pulse Rifle is a pulse-action assault rifle chambered for 10×24mm Caseless ammunition. It was notably employed by the United States Colonial Marine Corps and the United States Army as their primary infantry weapon during the early 23rd century.
Overview
A successor of both M41A Pulse Rifle and M41A Pulse Rifle MK2, the M41A2 was designed in 2184. Like its predecessor the MK2, it features a reduced magazine size (which is slightly higher than the MK2) in favor of a better accuracy and modularity. Like the M41AE2 Heavy Pulse Rifle, it lacks the underbarrel grenade launcher.
Notable Users
The M41A2 was used by the Colonial Marines from the USS Endeavor.
