The Armat Battlefield Systems M108 Buckshot Canister Round (also known simply as the Buckshot Round) is a type of high powered shotgun round predominantly employed by the United States Colonial Marine Corps[1] and Colonial Marshals.[2]
Overview[]
The M108 is primarily designed to be fired from the U1 Grenade Launcher, U4 Firebomb Launcher, U4A2 Repeating Grenade Launcher or U4C Projectile Launcher). The projectile consists into a small cartridge with a flat black nose. When fired from a U1, the cartridge unleash a salvo of explosive titanium buckshot[3] at the range of 30 m.[1]
