Father Lumley, was the High Priest of the Esoteric Brotherhood of Tulitu, a mystic sect who claimed the writer known as Horace Payne Loveless, as their prophet.
Overview[]
Father Lumley, who inherited his position of High Priest from his predacesor, Father August, led a group of cultists were recruited for labor by Omni-Tech, mostly out of desperation, as vey few people would be willing to leave their former life behind in pursiut of an unknown future.
Despite the opportunity they were givem Lumley and his followers frequently refused to honor their contract with Omni-Tech, and claim religious persecution when ordered to work by their superiors.
Eventually, Lumley was forced to comply with his contract or face being banished from the colony. Lumley would pass the time with his logs until one of his followers alerted him to a discovered, a statue of a Xenomorph queen. Further digging revealed an entire cavern filled with Xenomorph eggs. Believing that these were the spawn of Tulitu, Lumley allowed himself and his followers to be impregnated by Facehuggers.
The next day, Lumley and his cult arrives days earlier than their work shift order stated. Ignoring the Chief's attempts to talk to him results in her issueing an order to have Lumley and his cult exiled the next morning.
During the night however, Lumley and his followers plant eggs that had brought back throughout the colony's ventilation system. During the night, countless colonists are impregnated including the Chief. The cult later go to a circular room and all eventually give birth to the Chestbursters within them. Lumley being the last to die.
Personality[]
Lumley was fanatical and arrogant, believing his religion allows him to avoid fulfilling his part of his contract with Omni-Tech. While eccentric, Lumley was not harmless, as upon discovering the Xenomorph eggs, he immediately orchestrated the deaths of everyone in the colony.
