Lucian Church[2] was a terraforming engineer[3] operating from the transport vessel Incunabulum. She was the wife of Jason Church and mother to Paul Church. The Church family were aboard the Incunabulum when the vessel unknowingly set down on a moon infested by Xenomorphs, leading to the death of all but one of its crew and passengers.
Lucian, along with the rest of the crew, was captured by the Xenomorphs and taken to their Hive. She was eventually killed by her own son Paul, who strangled her when the Xenomorphs attempted to force the two to mate, in order to provide them with additional hosts.

Church's mother, along with the rest of her ships members, was ambushed by a group of Xenomorphs on an unknown moon and taken to their hive.
During the early stages of Church's experience inside the hive, the crew were separated from him, including his mother.
After numerous days spent inside the hive with Church's sanity diminishing, he was taken to a chamber that contained his mother in it. All of her arms and legs were decapitated, Church assumes this was due to her resistance. Church eventually figured out that the Xenomorphs wanted him to have sex with his mother so that she could produce more hosts for harvesting. Church, in defiance, gives his mother a mercy killing by choking her to death.
As punishment, Church was cocooned to a wall a second time and impregnated with a Chestburster, though he later escaped the hive and removed it.
