The Lacrima A20 Carbine was a semi–automatic battle rifle capable of firing standard case ammunition with the use of a pulse action system. Despite resultantly packing less of a punch than its competitors, the Lacrima A20 was compact, inexpensive, and easy to clean.[1]
Notable users[]
The Lacrima A20 carbine was mainly utilized by security services and private users on the Frontier due to its low price tag and ease of use. In 2198, the A20 was also used by the Xenomorph–worshiping cult known as the Darwin Era during a Xenomorph outbreak on the moon of Lethe. Several were pilfered from the Weyland-Yutani Corporation's corporate security arms lockers and armories.[1]

The Lacrima A20 Carbine appears in Aliens: Dark Descent, though it is not among the weapons available to the player.[1] The weapon shares its name with the Lacrima 99 Shockrifle,[2] which appears in Alien Resurrection.[3]
