Overview[]
The Kurtz was a two-function freighter, built not only for deep space but also to enter a planets gravity and land. The ship was equipped with a gravity drive, making FTL possible, and a large cargo hold.
The upper level was built to quarter twenty people comfortably. The ship also carried an APC.
Trivia[]
- The Kurtz was first introduced in the 1990 comic book series Aliens: Female war, but wasn't given its official name until the release of novelized adaptation, Aliens: The Female War.
- In the comic, Ripley and her crew modified the ship to meet the needs of their mission, but in the novel, Ripley and her crew stole the custom designed hauler.
