Klassen was a member of the United States Colonial Marine Corps. She was part of a search and rescue mission sent to LV-426 aboard the USS Sephora in 2179 to investigate the disappearance of the USS Sulaco and its crew 17 weeks earlier. Klassen died in a dropship crash after evacuating the Sulaco.
Biography[]
After the Sephora's reactor went critical, Weyland-Yutani PMCs tried to commandeer Lieutenant Reid's dropship. Klassen, along with Captain Cruz, Private Clarison, and Private O'Neal, defended the dropship from the attacking PMCs while Corporal Winter armed the emergency releases for the cargo bay door. After the dropship was ready to evacuate, Klassen along with the other Marines boarded and they escaped the Sulaco.
However, during the evacuation the dropship was struck by some debris, taking out one of the dropship's engines which caused them to crashland down onto LV-426. Klassen presumably perished in the crash as she was not seen with the other survivors at the wreck.
Equipment[]
Klassen was outfitted with standard-issue M3 Pattern Personal Armor for protection; her armor was fitted with a TNR Shoulder Lamp attachment for illumination. She had customized her armor vest with a heraldic griffin with several tally marks around it and the words "STRENGTH" below it and "HONOR" above it. Her armor also had several shotgun shells and two pouches strapped to the vest. Klassen was equipped with an M41A Pulse Rifle MK2 and an M4A3 Service Pistol.
