Kenner Products was an American toy company based in Cincinnati, Ohio. It was founded in 1947 by brothers Albert, Phillip and Joseph L. Steiner, and was named for the street where the original corporate offices were located. Kenner has produced several licensed children's action figures based on the Alien and Predator franchises, starting with their infamous 1979 figure based on the film Alien. The company was closed by its corporate parent Hasbro in 2000.
Several of the toys from Kenner's Aliens and Aliens vs. Predator lines notably came with exclusive Aliens: Space Marines mini-comics created by Dark Horse Comics that have, to date, never been made available elsewhere.
John Steiner died in 2002, just two years after the company he founded ceased operations.
