Kay Harrison was a scavenger, Tyler Harrison's younger sister and cousin to Bjorn.
In 2142, Kay and a group of scavengers used the Corbelan IV to reach the Renaissance station.
Biography[]
Kay grew up on Jackson's Star located in LV-410, and was the younger sister of Tyler Harrison as well as the cousin of Bjorn.
In 2142, she and Bjorn had an affair, and Kay became pregnant by him,[2] but she didn't tell him about it because she deemed him as being an "asshole."
When Navarro detected the signal of a derelict Weyland-Yutani ship, she, Tyler, Bjorn, and Navarro asked Rain for help to let them use Andy as a way to communicate with the MU/TH/UR mainframe aboard the station and steal hypersleep chambers to enable the nine light years of travel to Yvaga III in search of better living conditions.
After arriving at the Renaissance station, Kay revealed to Rain that she was pregnant after she vomited, expressing her fear of confessing it to her brother, as well as expressing hope for her unborn baby to see the sunlight. When Navarro was attacked by a facehugger and came back to the Corbelan IV ship, Kay comforted Navarro during her last moments of life before a chestburster came out of her, splashing blood all over Kay's face, causing her to scream in complete horror. Kay ended up passing out due to a blow to her head after Navarro accidently kicked and activated the Corbelan's lever and destabilized it.
When she later recovered consciousness, she found the creature's skin after it had shed and created a cocoon in the wall. Bjorn approached her and covered her mouth to stifle her screams, and then he tried attacking the creature still in its cocoon by electrocuting it, but his efforts were in vain and he was killed by its acidic blood. During her attempt to escape, Kay contacted Tyler as the Xenomorph left its cocoon in its adult form. Tyler told her where to find the escape key which opened the door for her. Kay stumbled and fell to the ground from a high place, passing out. When she woke up once more, the Xenomorph began stalking her during her escape, witnessing how Navarro and Bjorn's corpses were dragged away by the alien. When meeting with Rain, Tyler, and Andy, the latter ignored their pleas and refused to open the door as the creature stalked and approached Kay, stating that it was what the creature wanted, until Kay was pierced in her shoulder by its tail and taken to the nest.
She was later found in the nest and released by the group during their escape, but Tyler was dragged away and killed by the Xenomorphs. Rain handed Kay the Z-01 compound and ordered her to take it to the Corbelan before they parted ways. When arriving to the ship, Kay was contacted by Rook, who advised her to abandon her friends, who he claimed had died to save her, but she refused to do so. Alarmed by her injuries, she decided to inject herself with the compound, causing her wounds to close.
Kay was later put in the stasis chamber by Rain, who assured her that she and her baby would be fine. Moments later before Rain went into stasis herself, Kay's pod began to emit warning signals about her critical state. When Rain opened the pod, Kay's belly was extremely bloated and she gave birth to a large cocoon, which she begged Rain to get away from her. Later, her breasts began producing a slimy mixture of breast milk and the Z-01 compound. As Andy came to assist, the cocoon released a Xenomorph-Engineer-human hybrid. The Offspring attacked and injured Andy, and it killed Kay by using its proboscis to drain her body of the Z-01 compound, making the Offspring even larger.
