KOI–2650.01 was a planet located in the KOI-2650 System of the Far Spinward Colonies. Gorham's Colony was situated on KOI–2650.01.
History[]
KOI–2650.01 was terraformed by Weyland Corp from 2058 to 2067, with Gorham's Colony being founded at the conclusion of the nearly decade–spanning process. After the establishment of the Three World Empire in 2088, KOI–2650.01 became a member world of the 3WE. In 2100, a team of explorers led by Daran Bako left KOI–2650.01 and traveled to KOI-1966.03 in a bid to settle it.

Gorham's Colony was located on KOI–2650.01.
The atmosphere on KOI–2650.01 was thin but breathable, with temperatures averaging 10°C, though the temperature and atmospheric pressure increased within the kilometer–deep fissures across the planet's surface. KOI–2650.01 was also subject to violent dust storms.
Economy[]
KOI–2650.01's resources included chromite, cobaltite, and titanium, as well as reserves of pentlandite and a large quantity of precious gems.
Population[]
Though Weyland Corp estimates purported KOI–2650.01's population to stand at one million as of 2071, the planet's inhabitants in fact numbered 250,000. By 2186, however, the populace had dwindled to two families.
