Hugo Cléas was a xeno–microbiologist employed at Tark-Weyland Station. In 2186, Cléas joined colleague Hide Tajima on an expedition to procure samples of a dangerous alien pathogen from the site of a biological attack on the planet LV-187. Both Cléas and Tajima disappeared without trace during a resulting incident.
