Harold Rembert was a minor character in Aliens vs. Predator: War and its novel counterpart.

Rembert is described as being short and obese with a top flat hair style. Rembert was a geologist and was paired with the older Davis Pratt for his latest outing.

Events of Aliens vs. Predator: War[]

Rembert and Pratt are seen running through the jungle, apparently being chased by something. They stop and wonder amongst themselves if they have managed to lose "it", only to have the creature appear and chase them again. Rembert begins to argue with Pratt about the latter's poor aim as Pratt had apparently missed the Drone several times with a shotgun and only succeeded in shooting their one and only radio, damaging it beyond use.

When the Drone reappeared, Pratt again attempted to shoot it at near point blank range but again missed and the shotgun was pulled from his hands. Rembert panicked and continued to run further into the jungle. Rembert was later found with his backed turned and on his knees by Pratt.

Rembert was assumed by Pratt to be resting but when he approached him due to Rembert not responding to being called, Pratt discovered that Rembert was struggling with a Facehugger that had wrapped around his face, the parasite had jumped from an egg that was hidden in a nearby ditch. The drone that was chasing them was actually herding them to the egg silo. Rembert is eventually subdued by the facehugger as Pratt was too panicked to aid him. Pratt himself shares the same fate only moments later.

Rembert and Davis' bodies are later found by a Yautja hunting party, their chest's burst open and still next to the open eggs.

  • The rapid life-cycle that would later be used by the movies, happens in this book, as Rembert and Davis' bodies are located right next to the eggs that has released the facehuggers on to them, presumably meaning that they were killed by their Chestbursters shortly after waking.
