Halcyon Models,[1] better known simply as Halcyon, was a United Kingdom-based model kit company.[2] It was founded in 1986 by Barry Jones.[3] They are perhaps best known for their Movie Classics line released in the late 80s and early 90s which included included 17 models from the Alien franchise[4] and a single model from Predator 2.
For a time, members of the unofficial Aliens Fan Club were eligible for a 20% discount on Halcyon products.[5]

Trivia[]
- Halcyon's "Alien Creature" model (the Runner from Alien3) was in fact co-designed by Tom Woodruff, Jr. and Alec Gillis of Amalgamated Dynamics, Inc., who created the full-size creature seen in the film.[7]
- Several Halcyon model kits were given away as part of contests run in Aliens magazine, Vol. 1 #9 and Vol. 2 #21, as well as Alien3 Movie Special #1.
