HBO First Look: Prometheus is a 2012 episode of the promotional documentary television series HBO First Look. It details the production of the 2012 film Prometheus. Originally broadcast on American television on May 29, 2012, it includes interviews with the film's cast and crew alongside clips from the film and behind the scenes footage of the production.

Despite its relatively short length, the documentary is divided into five sections, each dealing with a different aspect of Prometheus' production. The fourth, longest section focuses on the vast sets constructed for the film at Pinewood Studios and the design of the Proemtheus itself. It also touches on the various vehicles built for the production and the digital effects and 3D used in the film.
The segment includes interviews with Ridley Scott, Damon Lindelof, assistant director Max Keene, production designer Arthur Max, creature effects supervisor Neal Scanlan, and set decorator Sonja Klaus.
Ridley's Vision[]
The final section discusses Ridley Scott's role as director. It concludes with the cast and crew sharing their final thoughts on the film ahead of its release.
