The goat was a farm animal native to Earth. Several goats were kept at Rose Hill Farm, an agricultural compound that served as the headquarters of the radical anti–colonization group dubbed the Earthsavers during their attempts to halt the launch of the Weyland-Yutani Corporation colony ship USCSS Covenant; some of these goats were stuffed with explosives and used to defend the base against Weyland–Yutani's security forces. The Corcoran Highland Goat was a hardy breed of goat created by Weyland–Yutani for rearing on colony worlds. A small number of goats were kept at a farm in the Weylander camp on the Far Spinward Colonies planet KOI-784.01. Goats also produced milk.
