An unidentified moon, often referred to as Third Base, the name of the military base located on it, is a small unidentified moon located within a short jump distance from both New Eden Sector and Sol system.

History[]
When discovered, the moon was terraformed and a colony was established near the atmospheric processor first using the moon's cavern and ancient ice reservoirs as temporary housing. Soon after an advanced bioweapons research facility under the jurisdiction of the United States Colonial Marine Corps was installed near the colony that was cut off from the rest of the galaxy due to the classified status of the base.[3] At some point, General Thomas Spears, in charge of the base used the colonists as Xenomorph incubators and the atmospheric processor as a hive. In 2194 soon after their arrival, Billie, Wilks and Bueller helped by Major Powell staged a rebellion against Spears, that will result of his departure leaving his men and the moon to the mercy of Xenomorphs. The moon is now deserted from all human life leaving only Xenomorphs.[2]
Climate and Terrain[]
The moon comes with a temperate climate that can host torrential downpours and electrical storms with a mean temperature of 25°C and the atmosphere is breathable for humans.[1]
The planet is covered with barren wastelands and caverns. There was also at some point ice reservoirs that melt.[1]
