"Lizzy, doesn't it ever bother you? The way Dr. Nordling touches you, doesn't that...Bother you?"
"I'm not programmed to be bothered, Dr. Strunk.
"
Joy Strunk and Lizzy (from Aliens: Stronghold)

Lizzy was Doctor Caspar Nordling's android secretary. Lizzy served Nordling in his research facility as his assistant. It is also likely that she was treated by her superior as a psuedo-sex-synth, much to Joy Strunk's displeasure.

Unlike the other synthetics that ultimately rebelled against the doctor, Lizzy was reprogrammed by the doctor to remain loyal to him, and assisted Nordling in escaping the facility. She went on to sacrifice herself to a group of Xenomorphs, allowing the doctor enough time to kill the creatures and reach an emergency escape pod.

Biography[]

ASLizzy4

Lizzy's indifference to Nordling's behavior.

Lizzy served as an assistant to Nordling in his research facility. Nordling had requested fellow synthetic doctor Payne to teach him how to re-wire Lizzy's programming to help him "ease his work-load", as Payne had put it. After supply runners and security auditors Philip and Joy Strunk arrived at doctor Nordling's research facility, Lizzy cleared them for docking and alerted Nordling to their presence. Beyond the rest of the android staff, alongside synthetic-Xenomorph Jeri and Combat android Dean, Nordling introduced the Strunks to Lizzy, before groping her inappropriately in front of the two.

Nordling went on to have Lizzy go over the new surveillance software installed on the terminals to Joy. With the two alone, Joy asked Lizzy if the way Nordling touched her bothered her, to which Lizzy introspectively replied that although she understood the legal severity in his actions if she were human, and technically takes issue to it, she is merely a synthetic, and as such was not programmed to be concerned on the matter.

ASLizzy2

Lizzy disarms Philip.

Defending the Doctor[]

Nordling went on to drug the Strunks, and intended to harvest them. However, Jeri saved the two. After the Strunks and Jeri infiltrated Nordling's office to access their ship, Dean crashed into his office and held Jeri at gunpoint against the wall, whilst Nordling entered and pointed a handgun at the Strunks. Dean released Jeri after he identified himself to him. After realizing that Dean was not under Nordling's control, Philip subsequently attacked Nordling, but Lizzy, still subservient to the doctor, saved Nordling, disarmed Philip and broke his wrist. Before taking further action, Jeri used his tail to cut off Lizzy's hand and partially bisect her face, critically wounding her.

Sacrifice[]

ASLizzy3

Lizzy sacrifices herself for Nordling.

Taking Lizzy with him, Nordling ends up retreating and had overridden the security measures to the hatch of the facility's hive entrance, causing a horde of Xenomorphs to flood out. As the two make their way to the emergency escape pods, they are later cornered by a small group of Xenos. With her First Law programming still intact, Lizzy ends up sacrificing herself to save Nordling, lunging herself at the Aliens and being torn apart, giving him enough time to kill the creatures with his handgun. In spite of her valiant sacrifice, Nordling was unsympathetic to her dying calls and ended up abandoning her, her systems eventually shutting down.
