Farming, also known as agriculture, was an industrial practice that involved the cultivation of plants and animals to produce edible products. The Frontier planet Terraform 3 was a world given over to the production of livestock, serving as a production center for byproducts such as bovine burgers and steak. The Weyland-Yutani Corporation farmed fungus on the Outer Rim Territories planet Arcturus.
