Eye box

Eye-box

The Eye-box , also known as a 'jector, was an interactive and visual piece of video communication technology developed in the 21st century that used retinal cues to switch between hundreds of channels.

Overview[]

Emmett Webster wrote about the Eye-box extensively in a book titled The Evolution of Television, published in 2057. In it, he wrote, "The 'eye-box' was designed to detect minute changes in the capillaries of the retina, initiating random channel changes based on involuntary blood pressure fluctuations. To hold audiences, programmers were forced to devise new styles of programming that would not 'trip' the eye-box switcher."
