The Exiles were a group of Predators who had been held prisoner on Kehua Island until their deaths.
Biography[]
Not long after the Bunting Islands were established in the late 19th century, the colony had started to fall apart until an alien ship crashed into the ocean just off the coast of Amelia Island and sunk like a stone, which is when the "Exiles" arrived. To the colonists, the seven humanoid creatures who swam to shore were believed to be devils from hell. To Dr. Malcolm Bunting, a fan of science-fiction novelists like H.G. Wells and Jules Verne, they were "visitors from another world." Soon after their arrival, the alien creatures started hunting the colonists. Many colonists died for each Exile they brought down, but the war made the colony strong and gave them purpose. In the wake of their actions, the colonists had become primal and violent.
After hunting and killing three of the seven original alien hunters, Dr. Malcolm Bunting decided it would be wise to capture the remaining four, starve them, and transport them to the neighboring Kehua Island to be released into the island's jungle where the four "Exiles" remained until more than a century later, when The Hunters launched an investigation within the province following the recovery of the only surviving member of a fishing crew who accidentally encountered the alien hunters on Kehua.
Trivia[]
- A variant design, heavily inspired by the exiles' primitive looking gear and backstory, was made available as DLC pack in the 2020 video game Predator: Hunting Grounds for a character named the Exiled Predator.
