The Alphatech Hardware EVAC-3 Series Aerospace Superiority Trans Atmospheric Fighter, (also known simply as the EVAC-3),[1] is an American aerospace fighter and the the primary fightercraft of the United States Colonial Marine Corps and United States Aerospace Forces. [1]

Development and Overview[]

Designed for air/space superiority, the EVAC-3 is a polyvalent fighter being as deadly in atmosphere and in the space void. Despite being light armored it's better protected and more maneuverable than its Union of Progressive Peoples counterpart, the MiG-730 albeit slower. Also like the MiG it can make planetfall but is unable to leave the atmosphere by itself. The EVAC-3s are usually transported in docking racks attached to frigates, the cockpit can be configured for one or two seaters and can act as a cryosleep chamber in one-seat configuration for long range missions.[1]

History[]

The USS Tamb'Itam, from The 3rd Battalion's 5th Regiment of the 33rd Marine Assault Unit, can be fitted with a starfighter rack that can carry six EVAC-3 starfighters.[2]

In 2184, several EVAC-3 stationned on Ariarcus were used when Union of Progressive Peoples invaded Ariarcus and will do their best to prevent Krokodils dropships to deliver their payloads.[3]

During Operation: Go Fish, on Pandora, several EVAC-3 wings are seen fighting against the UPP fighters.[4]

During Operation: Octopus Garden, on Pandora, several EVAC-3 fighters were used by the Tamb'Itam when fighting Blackguard's capital ships and can also support troops on the ground.[5]

In 2186, four highly modified EVAC-3s known as Angels (or Uriel, Raguel, Sariel, and Remiel) were stationed aboard the New Albion Protectorate warship HMS God's Hammer.[6]

The EVAC was used by the Space Marines to capture and dispose of big Xenomorph threats. On Zeevan, an EVAC was used by Bishop to capture a massive four armed Queen with its capture pod and dropping her in volcano.
