General Delyla S. Vaughn was a member of the United States Colonial Marine Corps and the clandestine organization known as Deep Void.

Biography[]

In 2177, Vaughn was responsible for handing the Xenomorph-infested refinery Katanga to the Weyland-Yutani Corporation. In 2184, Vaughn was one of the instigators of the Frontier War. Vaughn oversaw the deployment of engineered Biodrone Xenomorphs at the Corinth Colony on the Union of Progressive Peoples planet KOI-571.02; the incident saw the destruction of the colony and the nearby Ouragan Testing Facility. In 2187, Vaughn planned to assassinate the Joint Chiefs of the United Americas Allied Command and seize control of the combined military of the United Americas so as to hire out its various divisions as an elite mercenary force. To do this, Vaughn arranged for a horde of Biodrones to be unleashed at a vital cross-political summit on LV-846; the creatures overran the USS Alexiares, and attacked the Pushan Conference and Business Complex after the vessel crashed on LV-846, successfully derailing the summit. However, a Xenomorph Queen brought to the planet routed the Biodrones, and Vaughn's involvement in the outbreak became common knowledge to the UA military. Vaughn herself, however, remained at large.

Equipment[]

Vaughn's transport of choice was the Mantis-class stealth vessel USS Black Bart. In combat, Vaughn wore M3 Pattern Personal Armor and carried an M41A Pulse Rifle, and also owned a pair of BiMex Personal Shades.
