David Chester "Dave" Gibbons (born April 14, 1949) is a British comic book artist and writer who has worked on several comic books in Dark Horse Comics' Aliens and Predator lines.
A veteran and much acclaimed comics creator, Gibbons is most well known as the artist and co-creator (with writer Alan Moore) of the groundbreaking series Watchmen for DC Comics in 1985. He was also artist/co-creator of the similarly acclaimed Martha Washington series with famous writer Frank Miller, also for Dark Horse.
