Darcy Benson was a resident of Gunnison, Colorado. She became involved in the Xenomorph outbreak that ultimately led to the destruction of the town in 2004.
Darcy was killed, along with many other survivors, when Colonel Stevens elected to destroy Gunnison with a tactical nuclear strike rather than risk the infestation spreading.
Biography[]
When her family, Buddy and Sam Benson, vanished while on a hunting trip, Darcy searched extensively for them the following night and day, not realizing they had been killed by Xenomorph Chestbursters.
When the Xenomorphs spread through Gunnison the following night after that, Darcy discovered the dead remains of Carrie Adams and the Bellybursters who appeared from her belly. Because of that she became hysterical and ran away.
She was later found by Eddie Morales and his group of survivors and she told them what she saw. She also witnessed Xenomorph attacks against them and part of the fight between Wolf and the Xenomorphs.
Despite Kelly O'Brien's warnings towards the group, she later decided to join Morales to the center of the town with others in order to await a promised military airlift there. However, as Kelly feared, the airlift was a setup to lure the remaining inhabitants, and with them the Xenomorphs, there in order to later launch a tactical nuclear strike there that would kill them all and, by doing this, stop the Xenomorph infestation. The plan succeeded and Darcy died along with all the others in the nuclear explosion.
Personality[]
She loved her family very much and also had an innocent (naïve) attitude towards the government.
