Dan "Danny" Trejo (born May 16, 1944) is an American actor who played Cuchillo in the 2010 film Predators, as well as the 2010 short film The Chosen. He also lent his voice to the character in the 2010 motion comic Moments of Extraction. Other notable films Trejo has appeared in include Heat (1995), Desperado (1995), From Dusk Till Dawn (1996) and Spy Kids (2001) and Machete (2010).
Trejo is known for his association with director Robert Rodriguez; the two are close friends and Trejo has appeared in many of the director's films, perhaps most notably the Machete series, which Rodriguez wrote specifically for the actor.
