DC Comics/Dark Horse Comics: Batman vs. Predator is a trade paperback comic book that was published by DC Comics on June 13, 2017. It collects together several stories that pit Batman against the Yautja. The cover art was by Mike Mignola.
In the overall Dark Horse crossover comics line, DC Comics/Dark Horse Comics: Batman vs. Predator was preceded by Dark Horse Comics/DC Comics: Justice League Volume 2 and Predator vs. Judge Dredd vs. Aliens: Splice and Dice. The unreleased Star Trek: The Next Generation/Aliens: Acceptable Losses was due to be published concurrently. Batman vs. Predator was followed by Archie vs. Predator II
After investigating a series of gruesome murders in Gotham City, Batman soon realizes that these crimes aren't perpetrated by anyone from Gotham City... or even this planet. Soon enough, the Dark Knight finds his real enemy — the intergalatic hunter, Predator!
Spinning off of the films from Twentieth Century Fox and the legendary comics characters from DC, DC COMICS/DARK HORSE: BATMAN VS. PREDATOR features three no-holds-barred slugfests the likes of which the universe has never seen. This new collection features stories from creators such as Dave Gibbons, Andy Kubert, Doug Moench and Chuck Dixon and collects BATMAN VS. PREDATOR #1-3, BATMAN VS. PREDATOR II: BLOODMATCH #1-4 and BATMAN VS. PREDATOR III: BLOOD TIES #1-4.
- This collection is the only release in the Batman/Predator series to use 'vs.' instead of 'versus' in the title.
- While this book collects together all of the Batman versus Predator comics, Batman also came into contact with the Yautja in one other limited crossover comic series, which also involved The Man of Steel and Xenomorphs — Superman and Batman vs. Aliens and Predator.
