The D-Series Light Duty Interface Craft, commonly known as the Sanriku Interface Craft, was an item of equipment manufactured by Weyland-Yutani Corporation subsidiary Sanriku Heavy Industries and designed to transport cargo. It was a successor to the WY-37B cargo lifter sled.

At least two D-series ships were involved with Weyland-Yutani's Xenomorph-breeding operation on and around LV-895 in 2202; one was encountered by the United Americas Colonial Marine Corps on the orbital refinery Katanga, while another was present at a landing site on LV-895 itself, close to an ancient Engineer ruin. These craft were used to ferry Ovomorphs from the Hive on Katanga and in turn, send native animals from the planet to the refinery for impregnation under the supervision of the artificial intelligence SN/TH/YA.
