Coyle was a former member of the United States Marine Corps[2] and one of the Loonies on the bus, when Quinn McKenna was sent to it.

When they find out about the Fugitive Predator, he, together with the others, decide to escape and help Quinn McKenna, which they do. They also help him in dealing with the Upgrade Predator.

Coyle was good friends with Baxley, though he would occasionally tease him. After being mortally wounded by the upgraded Predator, he and Baxley mercy killed each other.

Equipment[]

During his confrontations with the Fugitive and Upgrade Predators, Coyle armed himself a Kriss Vector submachine gun. During the showdown with the Upgrade Predator in the forest he upgraded to an M4A1 fitted with a short-barrelled M203 grenade launcher. He also carried a Beretta 92FS as his sidearm, notably using the weapon to simultaneously mercy kill Baxley when they were both mortally wounded by the Upgrade Predator.

Trivia[]

  • When discussing the existence of aliens and another character suggests religious reasons; Coyle responds with "If you don't stop this bible shit, I'm going to set you on fire," a homage to the actor's earlier role of Coach Hines whose favorite threats were the acts of setting people on fire.
