"Chief," often called "Chief Architect," was the administrator of the Omni-Tech Outpost on Mira Ceti 4.
Biography[]
Chief held a particular dislike towards Lumley and his cult, the Esoteric Brotherhood of Tulitu. This stemmed from their refusal to honor the company contracts, citing that such labor was beneath them and claiming it was religious persecution.
As it would turn out, the Chief and the foreman's distrust of the cult would prove to be justified, as the cult discovered Xenomorph eggs during their dig and their leader Lumley considered them to the spawn of Tulitu. The cult neglected to notify Omni-Tech and also deliberately brought the eggs back to the outpost. As a result, Chief, along with most of the citizens were impregnated by Facehuggers while they slept. The cultist planned and succeeded in wiping out the colony. Chief was killed when the chestburster erupted from her chest, the foreman witnessing this was driven insane, laughing hysterically.
Personality[]
Chief had a fair but stern approach to her leadership. Taking complaints from her foreman seriously and giving the Esoteric cult warnings before deciding to banish them. During a meeting with Lumley, she had to psyche herself up before warning him, indicating that either she didn't like having to warn employees or didn't like having to deal with Lumley due to his irrationality. Unfortunately her eventual decision to have the cult banished the following morning rather than immediately when they again violated the contract, allowed the cult to secretly place eggs throughout the outpost as well allow the chestbursters within them to burst and spread. During the night, Chief was impregnated along with many others as a consequence of not taking immediate action.
