Dr. Casey Brackett is an evolutionary biologist hired by Project Stargazer to check on the Fugitive Predator when he was held captive in its installations.
Its head, Will Traeger, personally introduced her to the creature. Once the alien escapes, she, however, ends up with The Loonies on the hunt for him. Since they pursue the same goal, they, in time, join forces in that hunt and later, after its death, on the hunt for the Upgrade Predator, its killer.
They succeed in killing the Upgrade Predator, but only she, Quinn McKenna, and his son, who the Upgrade Predator intended to kidnap, survive the fight.
