Carter to Toru McLintock-Riley (from Alien: Inferno's Fall)

Carter was a synthetic owned by Toru McLintock-Riley, the founder of The Knot.

Biography[]

When Toru turned 50 years old, her sisters found Carter, a discarded pleasure model synthetic. They refurbished and modified him extensively to be useful beyond his initial parameters. Then they tied a bow around his neck and presented him to Toru at a big birthday party. Toru kept his initial programming, but also developed his secondary resources to be of use in the Knot’s actual work in mining.[1]

Events on Shānmén[]

Carter accomppanied Toru and other members of the Knot when they received a job assignment to work at the Jùtóu Combine's Svarog Mine on the Union of Progressive Peoples mining planet Shānmén.[2]

After the attack on Shānmén by a Juggernaut-class spaceship, Carter took shelter in the mine with the members of The Knot and the other survivors[3] He guided and protected the Knot members through the alien ruins beneath the mine[4] and was damaged in an attack by mutated xenomorphs as they tried to escape and be rescued.[5]

Carter was one of three civilian survivors of the attack on the planet, alongside Knot miner Lena Waipapa-Riley and Bái Yún Lee.[6]

Personality and Traits[]

Carter had chiseled features and was tall and lean[1], with a crafted, handsome face[2].
