Cara Prestowicz was a Weyland-Yutani Corporation technician assigned to the USCSS Covenant in 2103. Shortly before its departure, Prestowicz was taken hostage by Eric Sasaki, a member of the radical Earthsavers movement, in one of the terraforming bays aboard the ship. She was rescued by chief terraformist Katherine Daniels and acting chief of security Tom Hallet, who foiled Sasaki's attack.
