Bogdan was one of several physics professors, plasma engineers, and gunsmiths working under Kazimir Ilyasov at the outpost.

After the mutagenic pathogen attack on Shānmén by a Juggernaut-class spaceship, Bogdan was one of the surviving outpost scientists that were the target of rescue operations conducted by members of the Jackals.[1]
