"Attention. Prepare Asset Zero for activation and evacuation. Uploading operating procedures... now."
SN/TH/YA (from Aliens: Fireteam Elite)

Asset Zero was the codename given by Weyland-Yutani to a Juggernaut-class Engineer spacecraft found on LV-895 in Site Two. The ship was disabled by one of UAS Endeavor Colonial Marines fireteam.

Description[]

Asset Zero Bridge

Asset Zero's bridge

The Juggernaut was a large, asymmetrical, wishbone-shaped craft, with thickened central sections between two horns, which bend upwards. It had numerous tunnels that go off to many places. The Juggernaut had three large openings near ground level between two horns, leading into the interior of the Juggernaut. The interior of the Juggernaut resembled more a living organism than a space-going vessel, with skeletal walls, circular gangways and steep passages.

The Juggernaut's bridge equivalent consisted of 4 Sarcophagi, a control mechanism made out of some sort of biological-like material, which is activated through the use of an Engineer flute and the pilot's seat on the center of the bridge. The cargo hold is a circular room with the wall covered with Steatite Ampules full of Chemical A0-3959X.91 – 15 ready to be deployed. The "reactor" room is a large room powered by six flux capacitors.[1]

History[]

Asset Zero Interface

Weyland-Yutani used synthetics to interface with Asset Zero's systems.

The buried ship was discovered by Weyland-Yutani and studied for years. Weyland-Yutani eventually managed to interface with the Engineer technology by cannibalizing security synthetics to take control of the Juggernaut, and loaded every pathogen jar on board into the ship's cargo hold. In 2202, after all Weyland-Yutani personnel were eradicated or contaminated, SN/TH/YA took control of the operation and the ship was overrun by pathogenic lifeforms. Shortly before her mainframe was shutdown by a fireteam from the UAS Endeavor, SN/TH/YA executed her final protocol—activating and evacuating "Asset Zero" to Weyland-Yutani's Biolab 14 on Gateway Station. Acting to prevent a payload of pathogen from being brought directly into Sol System, the Marines stormed "Asset Zero" and managed to cripple its engine by destroying its power source and grounding it once and for all. A Marine garrison was subsequently posted aboard the deactivated vessel.[1]
