Arthur Sylvia was an employee of Prodigy Corporation who worked as a technician.

History

Arthur along with Dame Sylvia were responsible for looking after the hybrids and seeing to their maintence and needs. After being told by Atom Eins to erase the memory of Nibs, Arthur refused and was fired by Eins. While leaving, he attempted to help Tootles who had been damaged by the alien flies that consume inorganic matter. In his attempt to aid the hybrid, Arthur was locked in the lab by Slightly who had also released a facehugger. Arthur was attacked and subdued by the parasite and would be hidden by Slightly until he discovered by Smee.

After being convinced by Slighty, Smee helps him carry Arthur through a forest with the intention of going to the beach to meet up with Kumi Morrow. Halfway there, the hybrds noticed guards patroling. During this moment, the facehugger had removed itself from its host and Arthur regained consciousness. Arthur being confused on where they were enquires about what happened but the Slightly and Smee tell there was a gas leak and that they carried him out.

Afterwards, Arthur would figure out that that the Slightly and Smee were up to something, he emphasized with them and attempted to convince both hybrids to come back to the facility with him, while about to walk back with them, Arthur went into convulsions and was killed by the Chestburster inside him emerging.

The T.Ocellus eventually found Arthur's deceased body, surgically removed his eye and then started controlling his body.

Personality and traits

Arthur's official biography states:

One of Prodigy’s lead technicians, Arthur is the moral compass within the company. Arthur is a true believer in the stated mission of the program but soon finds himself at odds with the reality of his situation.

Arthur was kind hearted and empathetic member of the Prodigy company. He cared about the hybrids and stood up against actions considered unethical which eventually got him fired. Moreover, he was understandably worried about the implication of children whom converted into hybrids via. consciousness transfer into synthetic bodies might not survive the process as intended and that said synthetic bodies were inhabited by A.I. which nonetheless inherited their memories and personalities — a concern Dame unfortunately took with a grain of salt. Ultimately his good nature would be the cause of his death as in his attempt to help Tootles, who had been attacked by the alien flies, he was locked in the lab with a Facehugger by Slightly.
