―Report concerning the likelihood of the Archdeacon's existence (from Alien: The Roleplaying GameBuilding Better Worlds)

The Adjutor, also dubbed the Archdeacon, was a hypothetical evolution of the Proto-Xenomorph known as the Deacon. The Archdeacon was envisioned by scientists as possessing a prominent ribcage, a more elongated head, and larger hands than its progenitor, and standing at a height of three meters tall. The Archdeacon would also take on a deeper shade of dark blue, and its jaws would be able to grip and shred limbs. The attributes of the Archdeacon were predicated on the assumption that the host from which the Deacon emerged was human, and were purely conjectural; if another species, such as an Engineer, were infected, the resultant Deacon would be much more powerful.
