"Everybody says the Xenomorphs take on the traits of their hosts...And it was his mother..."
De Vore regarding the one-armed Xenomorph (from Aliens: Dust to Dust)

A Xenomorph Drone was birthed from colonist Anne Cregar, who was impregnated by a Facehugger during an infestation in the colony of Trono on the planet LV-871. The birthing of the Xenomorph caused a large commotion on the escape shuttle Anne and her son, Maxon, had boarded, culminating in it crashing onto LV-871's surface.

Though presumed dead by the surviving civilians, the now adult Xenomorph began stalking Maxon and the survivors during their plight for survival across the planet.

Characteristics and Traits[]

Anne's Xenomorph was an incredibly relentless specimen, constantly pursuing its targets to no end. Owing to the creature's DNA reflex influencing its behaviour, the Xenomorph would violently attack anything close to Maxon Cregar, even during its infancy as a Chestburster. Also unseen from other Aliens, Anne Cregar's maternal instincts passed onto the creature caused it to even attack a Queen. Though possessing similar traits to that of a typical Xenomorph, Anne's Alien suffered from a severed arm following the detonation of the escape shuttle.

Biography[]

Infancy[]

ADTDCB

Anne's Xenomorph is birthed.

As the Weyland-Yutani-funded colony of Trono suffered a Xenomorph outbreak, colonist Anne Cregar and her son Maxon managed to narrowly escape with their lives by boarding an escape shuttle. However, shortly afterwards, Anne began convulsing violently, and birthed a Chestburster, horrifying Maxon and the other escapees before scurrying into the ship interior.

As the passengers argued for their next approach, during the chaos, Maxon reached for a pistol and attempted to shoot the creature, but was stopped by another passenger, only for him to be killed by the slightly matured chestburster, after it lunged at him and tore open his throat.

The chaos caused the shuttle to crash, with Maxon and the rest of the civilians evacuating. After everyone was out, the shuttle was destroyed by co-pilot De Vore, in order to ensure the chestburster's death.

Stalking the Survivors[]

"It won't hurt me!
That thing is not your mom! Maxon, get back!
"
Maxon Cregar and Sinta regarding the one-armed Xenomorph (from Aliens: Dust to Dust)
ADTDXeno3

The One-armed Xenomorph emerges.

The now adult Xenomorph would go on to survive the crash, albeit with its right arm severed. After Maxon was sent to retrieve a satellite beacon by De Vore, he noticed the creature emerging from the rubble, before taking leave. As the two catch up with the group, he was asked what was wrong by De Vore, only for Max to hesitate and look behind him, seeing his mother's Xenomorph shriek in the distance.

The Xenomorph began stalking the group from afar. Amidst a large sandstorm, the creature approaches three stragglers, an elderly couple and a construction worker, killing them before turning its attention to Maxon. Before it could act any further, the child was grabbed by De Vore, and the two retreat to a nearby station, alongside the rest of the survivors.

ADTDXeno

Anne's Xeno attacks Maxon.

As Maxon was put to rest by Sinta, De Vore discussed with the survivors the possibility of the Xenomorph intending to protect Maxon due to its DNA reflex. Sinta dismissed the claim, however. After a horde of Xenomorphs ambushed the group, they were forced to evacuate the station, leaving only Maxon, Sinta and the synthetic Waugh as the sole survivors.

The three subsequently entered a terraforming plant, the Xenomorph still following them. As the three explored the interior, the armless Xenomorph emerged, with Maxon prompting the others to flee, believing himself that the creature would not hurt him. This was proven to be a mistake, however, as the Alien pounced on Maxon and barely missed with a Headbite. Maxon was only saved from death by Sinta, who threw a large mechanical arm at the creature, causing it to topple.

Death[]

ADTDXeno5

The One-armed Xenomorph attacks the Queen.

The group flee from the creature, and, after being separated by Sinta, Maxon soon ventured on into the facility alone and discovered a Xenomorph hive, alongside a Queen that blocked his path to the escape shuttle. However, the armless Xenomorph emerged and attacked the Queen, granting Maxon enough time to board the shuttle, ignite the engines and take off, burning the hive and all of its inhabitants in its wake.

Appearances[]

Trivia[]

  • Similar to Grid, this alien had an physically visible identifying trait as it was missing the better half of its right arm.
  • Additionally, this alien is referred to as male, despite being presumed hermaphroditic like all other xenomorphs.
  • The biblical meaning of the phrase "dust to dust" refers to both death and resurrection, which was illustrated by this Xenomorph that presumably inherited the memories of its late host, Anne Cregar.
