Overview[]
The bulk of the magazine consists of a "Mission Report", a 23-page adaptation of the film's story. The remainder features profile pieces on several of the key cast members, namely Sigourney Weaver (Ripley), Michael Biehn (Corporal Hicks), Paul Reiser (Burke) and Lance Henriksen (Bishop), and behind the scenes interviews with director James Cameron, producer Gale Anne Hurd and special effects artist Stan Winston. Throughout, the magazine is filled with numerous behind the scenes images and promotional stills, including photographs from scenes eventually deleted from the final cut of the movie, such as the Burke cocoon sequence.
