Aliens: The Essential Comics Volume 2 was a cancelled trade paperback comic book that was to be published by Dark Horse Books on August 25, 2020. It would have been part of the company's Essential Comics reissue program, which aimed to collect and re-release the key comics from all of Dark Horse's Aliens, Predator and Aliens vs. Predator lines as easily-accessible trade paperbacks. However, owing to Marvel Comics' acquisition of the rights to Alien comic books, the program was cancelled after only first few releases had been published, with all subsequent releases — including the already-announced Aliens: The Essential Comics Volume 2 — being cancelled. The book's cover art would have been an amalgamation of the covers from Dark Horse Presents: Aliens and the Aliens, Vol. 5: Harvest trade paperback, by Simon Bisley and John Bolton, respectively.
