Below is a list of all weapons as well as equipment that are available to the player in the 2021 video game Aliens: Fireteam Elite and its expansions. Weapons in the game are divided into four main categories — Pistols, close quarter weapons, rifles and heavy weapons plus several other miscellaneous items.

Pistols[]

Weapons only equipable by Technician, Doc and Phalanx classes. This weapon category is divided into three sub-categories: Handcannons, Riot Guns and Machine Pistols.

Handcannons[]

Hyperdyne Frontier Revolver[]

Main article: Frontier Revolver

When Hyperdyne decided to make a gun designed for explorers and miners, they went with a more traditional revolver format that was easier to maintain. The massive punch more than made up for the kick and single chamber reload, making these very common in the outer rim.

Kramer .50 Magnum[]

Main article: Kramer .50 Magnum

The Kramer .50 was the first viable attempt at creating a high-caliber, combat effective Hand Cannon. Slow-firing with a big kick, it's still popular because it packs a powerful punch.

Weyland-Yutani N79 EVA Laser[]

One of the oldest models still in use, the N79 provides near limitless ammo with incredible accuracy, but the charge-up time and heat concerns can prove difficult to use.

Hyperdyne Twinhammer[]

A unique model from Hyperdyne, the Twinhammer fires 2 heavy rounds in rapid succession, making it easy to land 2 shots on target. The special magazine style means frequent and lenghty reloads, and the double kick can be tricky for some to master.

Weyland-Yutani Type 95 Combat Pistol[]

The Type 95 was created with the intent of providing a high-caliber pistol that behaved like a standard sidearm. As such, it has less recoil and a higher rate of fire than a typical Hand Cannon, with considerably less per-shot stopping power.

Armat U1A2 GL Conversion[]

After the UAMC discountinued use of the problematic underbarrel attachment, they sought ways to repurpose the grenade launchers themselves. While not an official Armat modification, the compact and easily usable Conversions have become very popular, allowing explosive ammunition typically reserved for much larger weapons to be used in a hand-held format.

Riot Guns[]

Hyperdyne DKT-59 Misha[]

The Misha, or "Little Bear," is a modified Medved, following the same principles of devastating short range stopping power with frequent reloading.

Kramer Short-Barrel[]

The Short-Barrel is a brutally effective short-range weapon. It's small clip is offset by a quick reload, but it kicks like a mule.

Hyperdyne Rapid Responder[]

Main article: Rapid Responder

The first fully automatic Riot Gun on the market, the Rapid Responder allows for a truly massive amount of coverage in a very short time, but comes at the cost of much lower impact on any given shot.

Machine Pistols[]

Alphatech 8A7 Dambulla Machine Pistol[]

After many revision, Alphatech has finally delivered a contender in the Machine Pistol market. It performs closer to traditional SMGs, with a lower fire rate and smaller magazine than typical Machine Pistols - however, the heavy impact is well appreciated in its small package.

Armat M10 Auto Pistol[]

The M10 has a short range but high rate of fire. While it can be hard to control, the M10 is devastating in close quarters.

Armat Mark 7 Mod 2 CQB Pistol[]

When wanting to provide great short-range potential in a small package, Armat eventually arrived at the Mark 7 Mod 2 Clase Quaters Battle Pistol. By delivering an incredibily rapid burst of high-velocity rounds to a small area, targets can be dealt with quickly and accurately, even in high-stress situations.

Weyland-Yutani Type 78 Burst Pistol[]

Aimed at filling the gap that Hand Cannons have now largely taken over, the Type 78 can't hit as hard or as far as an actual Hand Cannon, but the accuracy and fire rate it provides makes it considerably more effective at range than any other Machine Pistol.

Close Quarter Weapons[]

Weapons only equipable by Gunner, Technician, Phalanx, Recon and Lancer classes. This weapon category is divided into three sub-categories: Shotguns, Submmachine-guns and Flamethrowers.

Shotguns[]

Hyperdyne DT-57 Medved[]

Main article: DT-57 Medved

Like its namesake, the DT-57 is ferocious in close combat. It's double-barreled design allows for immense firepower, but needs frequent reloading.

Hyperdyne EDS-93 Zadak Plasma Discharger[]

Another experimental model from Hyperdyne, the Zadak can rapidly fired like a conventional semi-automatic shotgun. Alternatively, holding down the trigger "overcharges" a shot, focusing the blast for greater precision at range.

Heirloom Shotgun[]

An older model, pump-action tube-fed shotgun, still in use in some corners of the UACM with marines that like to keep them handy for "close encounters.

Armat M37A3 Pump Shotgun[]

A standard pump-action tube-fed shotgun, devastating up close with serious falloff at range. Individual reload allows for greater combat up-time... if the wielder stays on top of it.

Armat M51 Breaching Scattergun[]

Early uses of the M51 were as both a breaching weapon, and as a suppression device that could incapacitate large crowds where the wielder was under close threat. The double-shot burst results in wide coverage, but minimal accuracy beyond very close range.

Weyland-Yutani Type 21 Tactical Shotgun[]

Modified from the original design to have a box-magazine instead of a single-fed tube, the Type 21 means less time manually reloading. Slightly more accurate and with a somewhat more controllable recoil, this shotgun is marginally more effective at longer ranges than most.

Weyland-Yutani Type 76 Auto Shotgun[]

When you need to rapidly put a whole lot of stopping power in that general direction, the Weyland-Yutani Auto Shotgun has become a popular choice. While the kick from the automatic fire can be difficult to handle, the relatively quick reload and large magazine size means you can keep up the pressure.

Submachine-guns[]

Alphatech 6A Jaipur Submachine Gun[]

The first of its kind, the 6A uses a custom sabot round designed to splinter into 4 pieces after leaving the barrel, causing multiple impacts on the target.This peculiar behavior results in a weapon that sits comfortably between typical SMG and Shotgun performance while finding new ways to eliminate threats of many kinds.

LEM MP11 Stormsurge[]

After the popularity of the LEM Storm Rifle, Weyland-Yutani sought to bring a similar feel to the urban combat arena. This brought an SMG with a 5-round burst and greater control and accuracy than most gun in the same category.

Armat M39 Submachine Gun[]

High recoil and spread coupled with an extremely high rate of fire make this weapon fairly ineffective at anything beyong short-medium range, but incredibily lethal up close.

Hyperdyne PPZ-49 Vol[]

The Vol features a closed-bolt and uses a gasless system, providing more accurate grouping in sustained fire. Coupled with the large magazine, the PPZ-49 edges close to Automatic Rifle territory while still being compact.

Armat X43 Barrage Flechette SMG[]

While the X43's rate of fire is incredibly high, the flechette's designcoupled with effective counterbalancing cause this weapon to be one of the most accurate SMGs in production.

Flamethrowers[]

Weyland-Yutani Type 99 Incinerator[]

With the number of infestations found on the frontier worlds, the need for a smaller, easily maintainable flamethrower was readily apparent. Weyland-Yutani stepped in to fill that niche, with a lightweight and durable short range Incinerator.

Armat X1 Fireball[]

Main article: X1 Fireball

Most flamethrowers carry a lot of risk of friendly fire, so Armat worked toward one with a more localized area of effect. The Fireball is named for the "ball" of D17 Gel it lobs, which explodes on impact and coats the target area.

Rifles[]

Weapons only equipable by Gunner, Demolisher, Doc and Recon classes. This weapon category is divided into three sub-categories: Auto Rifles, Dedicated Marksman Rifles and Sniper Rifles.

Auto Rifles[]

Alphatech 4C2 Astra[]

Main article: 4C2 Astra

Alphatech's first and most successful monopole assault rifle, the Astra provides a repeating 3-round burst of low caliber rounds with very tight grouping. The repeated burst cadence has a learning curve for some users, but the ease of use and large magazine have kept it popular through the years.

Kramer Assault Rifle[]

The Kramer is a slow-firing, hard-hitting assault rifle. Less effective at long range due to a much heavier recoil, it compensates up close with impressive stopping power.

Hyperdyne EVI-87 Zvezda Plasma Rifle[]

While still considered experimental outside the UPP, Hyperdyne has eagerly pushed export sales to corner a new market early. The fastest firing Automatic Rifle on the market currently, the plasma rounds provide great accuracy and minimal recoil, albeit with lower stopping power, especially at range.

Weyland-Yutani L36 Halberd[]

The Halberd is one of the fastest firing rifles currently in use, and is also one of the most accurate and longest ranged. Paired with reasonable recoil and a large magazine, it's easy to see why it's become so popular.

Armat M41A2 Pulse Rifle[]

The standard rifle of the UACM, the Pulse Rifle is a middle of the road assault rifle, good at all ranges with minimal recoil. Remember - short, controlled bursts.

Hyperdyne SVAT-92 Sokol[]

One of the only fully automatic Sniper Rifles to be approved for military service, the Sokol is effective at dealing with multiple threats from a distance. While it lacks the single target stopping power of traditional sniper rifles, it can also act as a medium range Battle Rifle in a pinch.

Weyland-Yutani Type 88 Heavy Assault Rifle[]

Weyland-Yutani's Heavy Assault Rifle maintains lethality at range while also providing a very effective close-range weapon. The recoil is on the high-end for a battle riflen but it packs quite the punch.

Dedicated Marksman Rifles[]

Hyperdyne AM-16 Gruppa[]

The Gruppa is hard-hitting and built for easy handling. While it has fewer rounds and longer reloads than competitors, the auto-burst mode has become a welcome addition to the market.

LEM StG24 Storm Rifle[]

Advertised as the perfect compromise between firepower and accuracy, the slower five-round burst of the Storm Rifle has proven incredibly successful. Inspiring a whole "sub-brand" with the follow-up MP11, the StG24 was adopted as the standard combat rifle for most 3WE armed services.

Armat M41A3 Burst Rifle[]

Adapted from the fully automatic M41, the A3 is quick-firing and effective. Built with a permanent 4-round burst mode and further modified to provide tighter, more accurate grouping.

Armat M42A2 Scout Rifle[]

A heavily modified version of the M41, the M42A2 converts the weapon into a highly effective precision weapon, with excellent range and recoil compensation, while still providing a decently sized magazine.

Hyperdyne Twilight v.4[]

The Hyperdyne Twilight pushes the DMR envelope, providing range closer to a Sniper Rifle, but with a faster firing rate and steady shot that can still prove effective at shorter ranges.

Armat X45 Bombard[]

Filling out Armat's Flechette line, the Bombard sits neatly between the X43 and X46, providing an accurate mid-range burst rifle that draws direct comparison to the venerable M41A3 Burst Rifle. Still utilizing a standard 4-round burst, the main diffentiators are the ease of reload and its tight burst grouping.

Sniper Rifles[]

Weyland-Yutani L33 Pike[]

Weyland-Yutani's L33 was built to be the best-in-class sniper rifle, aiming at maximizing damage with a single shot and unmatched accuracy at long-range.

Armat M42A3 Sniper Rifle[]

Based off the already modified M42A2, the A3 pushes even further, modifying the Armat Pulse Rifle into a true long-range Sniper Rifle, capable of delivering incredible stopping power, albeit with a long recovery time and immense recoil.

Armat X46 Ballista Flechette[]

From the same line as the X43 and X45, the Ballista provides a faster firing platform than most snipers, without quite the effective range or impact of others.

Heavy Weapons[]

Weapons only equipable by Demolisher and Lancer classes. This weapon category is divided into three sub-categories: Machine Guns, Launchers and Flamethrowers.

Machine Guns[]

Weyland-Yutani L56A3 Smartgun[]

Weyland-Yutani's most recent Smartgun focuses on mobility and reliability over power and tracking capabilities. Still, when you gotta hit the target, use a Smartgun.

Weyland-Yutani L59 Minigun[]

Main article: L59 Minigun

While the smart-aim of their older machinegun still remains popular, many elite units have started to shun the "low skill" weapon in favor of more powerful weapons that take a little more effort to utilize. While the spin-up time on the L59 is noticeable, it's not enough to really get in the way, and the power it hits with more than makes up for it.

Armat M41E4 Heavy Pulse Rifle[]

The Heavy Pulse Rifle uses an M41 base that has been fully converted into a heavy machinegun. With immense stopping power and a wild kick, this slow-firing weapon is devastating when the user can keep it on target.

Hyperdyne Thunderbolt Mk.2 Autocannon[]

The massive, explosive-tipped rounds of the Thunderbolt deal considerable damage with a localized splash effect - a benefit against xenomorph swarms, though a potential hazard in close quarters. The size of the projectiles does cause noticeable delay between firing and impact on distant targets.

Launchers[]

Alphatech 2B1 Vajra[]

An older model, the Vajra's rapid fire small-area impact grenades still prove popular to this day. Boasting the largest capacity on the market, the Vajra is quite adept at clearing a room.

Armat M12 RPG Launcher[]

Main article: M12 RPG Launcher

Various versions of the M12 have been in service within the UACM for some time. The current iteration is designed for smaller scale combat, creating powerful but contained explosions that are less likely to send an entire squad out into the vacuum.

Armat M12A1 Rocket Launcher[]

Another M12 brought unto UAMC service, the A1 is smaller, and fire rockets designed to maximize anti-personnel damage over a large area without compromising the internal structure of hardened surfaces.

Armat M94 Impact Grenade[]

A variant grenade launcher, the M94 was brought in to assist newer troops. Since the grenades explode on impact, getting it near your target is generally good enough.

Armat M95 Grenade Launcher[]

The M95 launches timed-fuse grenades that have quite the bounce, making them valuable for hitting targets around corners or behind cover.

Hyperdyne Microburst[]

Main article: Microburst

While "small area" RPGs and grenades have become common in modern weaponry, Hyperdyne has pushed further into a rapid fire, very condensed explosive, allowing users to blanket an area with powerful anti-personnel explosions with minimal collateral damage.

Weyland-Yutani P.649 HEL[]

Only recently released by Weyland-Yutani's experimental branch, the Project 649 High-Energy-Laser is a fully weaponised variable-charge energy weapon. Highly accurate at long range, it brings a new form of combat to the standard Heavy Weapons Platform of the UACM.

Flamethrowers[]

Hyperdyne OCAP-91 Volcan[]

The Volcan has been in service for many years as a great deterrent to various xenobiological lifeforms. Only usable at short range, it is still a potent force on the battlefield.
