The film treatment

Alien 5 was an attempt at a fifth Alien film by Walter Hill, separate from the version attempted by Neill Blomkamp.

Hill wrote a 50–page film treatment with fellow franchise producer David Giler. Similar to Blomkamp's attempt, the film would have brought back Ellen Ripley. However, the attempt never gained any traction. He sent his treatment to Sigourney Weaver.
