US Alien3: Collector's Edition DVD cover.
Alien3: Collector's Edition, known as Alien3: Special Edition in the United Kingdom, is a 2004 two-disc DVD set containing both the original 1992 theatrical cut and the 2003 Special Edition of Alien3, along with several bonus features. Essentially, the two discs are simply the fifth and sixth discs from the 2003 Alien Quadrilogy DVD box set released as a separate package. As such, it contains the same bonus features as those discs.
The DVD was released on January 6, 2004 in the United States and Canada,[1] alongside the corresponding DVD releases of Alien, Aliens and Alien Resurrection. In the UK, the release of the four sets was not quite so consistent, with Alien3 going on sale later than the other three films, on April 14, 2004.[2]

- The newly-created making-of documentary is somewhat confusingly presented on the bonus disc — it is split into its individual chapters and spread across the three main sections found on the disc (Pre-Production, Production, Post-Production). In order to watch the complete documentary uninterrupted, it is necessary to access the Navigation Options section and select the "Play all featurettes" option.
