The Affiance was a Model CY78.3 Affiance-class U extended range colony ship built by the Weyland-Yutani Corporation[1] and sponsored by the United Americas in a bid to expand the territory of the UA.[2] Launched Trailward in 2106 around the same time as the Allegiance and Arceon expeditions, the Affiance was ultimately unsuccessful in its mission and written off as lost.[1]
