Is there any way to read the comics online?
I've posted some of Linkara's videos here before - including both parts of his Batman/Aliens review and in September last year I posted his review of the first issue of Superman vs. Aliens (which he claims to be doing a review of the second issue later this year).
Don't comment on these threads - I don't want anyone getting in trouble for necroposting: Batman/Aliens , Superman vs. Aliens.
In this case, he reviews the first of the comic crossover Batman vs. Predator - which was a three-issue series pitting the Dark Knight against one of the extraterrestrial "Big Game" hunters that shows up in Gotham.
Like before, I've decided to share this one as I do find Linkara's review style to be pretty funny, so you might get a laugh out of it. Also, since Linkara also has a bad habit of taking ages to finish reviewing a series, I'll post this one for now.
Hope you like what you see:

In the comic Aliens vs. Predator: Deadliest of the Species, we see one of the human characters - that been the Caryn Delacroix - willingly letting herself be face-hugged by the last offspring of a Xenomorph "Queen Mother"; the Queen Mother in turn joining Caryn and her allies (a group of Human Mercenaries and a female Predator called "Big Mama") to ensure her last offspring is protected.
Eventually during their battle with the White Hybrids - a genetically engineered combination of Human, Yautja and Xenomorph DNA created by a corrupted AI known as TOY - the Chestburster inside of Caryn erupts; avoiding been shot by the mercenaries and escaping.
However, when the Xenomorph reappears after maturing into an adult, it looks like this:
As you can expect, it has left a lot of people puzzled as to how this creature - hatched from a Xenomorph Egg and emerging from a human - could resemble an alternative White Hybrid.
However, I have a theory as to why this happened:
The Xenomorph's host - Caryn Delacroix - is a "genetically engineered Trophy-Wife" who can naturally change her physical appearance and can even heal from great injury (proving this by healing after the Chestburster erupted from her body). Furthermore, Caryn was also taught the ways of the Yautja by the female Predator Big Mama; been able to use their weapons and technology as well as been trained in their ways of combat.
Since Xenomorphs inherit characteristics of their hosts, my theory is that the Trophy Hatchling could have inherited Caryn's ability to change its physical appearance and 'chose' to become a White Hybrid, albeit a version of its own choosing - with it maybe even choosing certain characteristics before it emerged from Caryn.
This would explain the Trophy Hatchling having a more human-like face and its ability to talk - with it also inheriting Caryn's Predator training as it was able to instinctively dodge the shots of the human mercenaries (who in turn were trained by Big Mama) and effectively use a Predator's Combistick.
However, what do you guys think of this theory.
Curious to see what opinions you have regarding the Trophy Hatchling and reasons behind its unique appearance.
In the past, I posted a pair of videos from YouTuber Linkara, where he reviewed parts 01 and 02 of the comic crossover Batman/Aliens; an "Elseworlds" story that pitted the "Dark Knight" against the "Perfect Lifeform" (and served as a sequel to Alien: Incubation).
You can see that thread here, although don't comment on it as I don't want you to get in trouble for Necroposting: https://avp.fandom.com/f/p/4400000000000079622
In this case, Linkara is now doing the Superman vs. Aliens crossover - with Superman learning from a Kryptonian probe that crashes to Earth that there are other potential survivors of Krypton; heading out into space to find the floating city of Argo. However, while there are survivors, something else lurks in the city's depths..
Like before, I decided to share this one as I do find Linkara's review style to be pretty funny, so you might get a laugh out of it. This is only the review of the first chapter of three, but Linkara has a bad habit of taking ages to finish reviewing a series so I'll post this one for now.
On the plus side, he intends to start reviewing Batman vs. Predator later this year, so that's something else to look forward to.

Something I found and decided to share.
In this video, "Linkara" does a review of a comic crossover between Batman and the Aliens franchise, with Batman going on a mission that sees him heading into the jungle near the Guatemala and Mexico borderline on a search to find a missing geologist who worked for Wayne Enterprises.
However, he ends up having to work with an American Special Ops unit also in the area as they encounter something none of them expected to find.
I honestly wanted to share these as I did find the reviews pretty funny, especially when you find out why Linkara wanted to review this comic in the first place.
So, here we go with the reviews of both chapters and I hope you like what you see:

Dear Xenomorphs,
Is it just me or have authors dulled you down to nothing more than a jump scare? A lot of recent releases have mistreated your species-describing you as tertiary characters who sound more like weapons than creatures.
With the exception of ONE scene from Colony War, where your Queen psychically manipulated a human, nobody has added to, focused on, or featured your culture or your obvious intelligence. What gives?
PS All hail Tulitu
Yours truly,

I'd recently read Mira Grant's novel: Alien: Echo and first of all, for a young adult novel it was great. I liked the world building and character development.
But as for the aliens, I have the same problem as with the AVP movies: The xenos reproduction time.
SPOILER ALERT.
It's too short, and the aliens are just too fast. distant from the crash to the main settlement is stated as fifty miles, more or less, but the aliens covered that distance in less than an hour.
First. The whole action occurs in just one day. and it's implied the aliens were at first at least six. How they did reproduced so fast?
Second. I all the novel there aren't a facehugger (dead or not) nor eggs. The eggs are only mentioned but there are none, not even empty ones next to cocooned victims. The pressence of the queen is suggested but we (and the protagonist) never see it.
One possibility is the reproduction cycle being so fast is just a plot device. The other is just a theory of mine, and I clarify, I don't like it at all. Is that the queen is similar to the predalien in AVP:R, impregnating fast growing embryos inside its victims. I don't think about that because for me, AVP:R is one of the worsts in the franchise.
Any thoughts?
Hi
I haven't done posts for a long time because I had a little break from creating posts (XD). But back to the topic that I want to raise.
-Did you like the AVP Life and Death comic?
In my opinion, this is a poor comic, but I am interested in the opinions of others.
I just finished Aliens which is the second book in the series. I like it a lot and it really brought back for me what made xenomorphs so scary in the first place. Especially the Xenomorph/human bonding thing that was awesome
How cool would it be if at the end of a Marvel movie the hero would be standing there and you see the infamous tri-laserbeam aim at them haha
For a few years now, I've heard about a prologue to the Aliens: Headhunters comic that was only published in Comic Shop News #500. Now, I've secured a copy, and have scanned the comic on my blog:
https://johnpannozzi.blogspot.com/2020/04/aliens-headhunters-prologue-from-comic.html
Hopefully, we can add info on this rarity to the AVP wiki.
Does anyone know if there is anywhere online where I can read the comics for free? I can’t afford to buy them.
Any answers will be greatly appreciated!😃😃💙💙💙💙💙
I feel like with Predator they should just stick with the comics or at least adapt them to movies. Because while the movies keep downgrading the comics keep being as great as the last ones. Even managing to create more awesome and unique predators like Ahab and Hornhead! What do you guys think?
