Ellen Ripley

Well, as a good Alien vs. Predator lover, everything I see connecting the two franchises really pleases me. I found out literally yesterday that one of the 3 proposed endings for the 2018 film, The Predator, would be that Ellen Ripley was in the pod instead of the Predator Killer, currently we only have photos of this, but it has been said that this scene was in fact filmed, Do we have any chance of this scene being made available to the public? Or even a new cut of the film that entirely replaces the Predator Killer with Ellen Ripley?

Bit of a What-if? scenario for you guys to ponder.

Lets say that not long after the events of Alien: Isolation and Amanda Ripley's own encounters with the Xenomorphs on Sevastapol Station, Ellen Ripley's pod is found much earlier - some time in 2138 as opposed to 2179 (around 40 years earlier).

Sure enough, she is brought back to Earth and manages to re-unite with Amanda, which I think would definitely result in a lot of strong emotions between mother and daughter; not just because of the passage of time, but also Ellen learning about the events on Sevastapol that her daughter had to go through because of the Nostromo's Flight Recorder been used by Henry Marlow to locate the Derelict; his wife Catherine Foster been impregnated by a Facehugger as a result.

While we wouldn't see an alternate version of the Hadley's Hope events as that colony wasn't established until 2157, do you think we'd see an adventure involving Ellen and Amanda working together to have to deal with another Xenomorph outbreak (maybe from a Weyland-Yutani staff member getting the co-ordinates of the Derelict from Ellen in the way Carter Burke was able to in Aliens)?

Hey all! Fandom observed Women's History Month in March by embracing equity through the lens of women, femme-identifying and non-binary people building the “tables” in industries where they often do not have a seat. We've had various programming from a playlist (listen to it here if you haven't already!) to interviews for women gamers (see here).

With March being over, so did Women's History Month come to an end. That said though, I am going to take liberty to still advertise one last thing in April, as it involved the horror community!

On the final day of Women's History Month, Fandom released a Final Girls Feature! The absolute highlights are:

• A Final Girls-inspired playlist with over 100 songs all performed by women and femme-identifying people! From well-known horror soundtracks to bobs giving off that Final Girl "don't mess with me" vibe, the entire playlist itself tells the story of the evolution of a Final Girl: from normal teenager to full-fledged powerhouse seeking to take down the killer by any means necessary (and some close calls with death along the way).

• Final Girls: The Trading Cards: a completely unique and newly created Final Girls deck featuring 24 heroines who defied all odds of survival and came out victorious!

What if Ripley and Clemens concieved a child when they slept together in Alien 3 and somehow this child lead to the newborn in Resurrection? Maybe the DNA of the unborn child mixed up with the queencl

I've managed to compile a theory of how Katherine Daniels from alien covenant could be Ellen Ripley's mother.

Ellen Ripley was born in 2092 making her 12 during alien covenant in 2104

Daniels might have been born in either 2066 or 2067 making her in her mid 20s when Ripley was born. its also possible that if Daniels is Ripley's mother she might have given her up for adoption because of her mission on the covenant, which could be why Ellen Ripley's last name is Ripley and not Daniels.

Daniels would be in her 30s by the time of alien covenant so the theory makes a lot of sense when you think about it.

(also I know people might hate this theory at first but this is how I conceive the connection Daniels has with Ripley. let me know what you think in the comments below).
