This series is a textbook example of why it's not a good idea to write scripts with AI. Because it really seems as if the episodes weren't written by screenwriters.I could go on and on about the logical errors that caused the series to fall apart, especially in the last two episodes, but then I'd probably be sitting here in front of my computer until morning. (Of course, if anyone is interested in my longer opinion, I'd be happy to share it.)
Spoilers!
1: In short, my opinion is that the series is ruined mainly by the acting and the characters.
-Wendy kills a Xenomorph in the third episode, but by the end of the series she feels sorry for them and even yells at her brother?
-Wendy, how can give orders to Xenomporh from one end of the island to the other (and why did have to turn them into pets)?
-If Hybrids are important to Prodigy, why would they sacrifice billions of dollars by sending them to Maginot ship where there is a chance they will die?
These are just a few examples out of hundreds (!) that make up the entire series.
2: The sight would be nice, but we don't see much beyond sterile rooms, and the outside world is only shown occasionally.
-Xenomorph made from made of rubber with a budget of $250 million?
-And why is it that Xeno can kill an entire squad in seconds without anyone even shoot?
-Seriously, are all other creatures more dangerous and terrifying than Xeno in the ALIEN series?(shall I continue?)
3: I have mixed feelings about the music:
-I like the intro music, as well as the music that plays when Arthur dies, but it's a shame that there is too little horror and atmospheric synthesizer music in the series.
-The rock music that plays at the end of all episode is annoying and unusual.
-Sometimes "gentle and friendly" music plays that is completely inappropriate for the given scene.
Overall, this is a very poor series, about which I could write for hours. Inconsistent, stupid, and illogical writing and creativity-lacking directing, combined with irritating actors, ruined the series.Everything else that came out of the Alien franchise was much better than this! Only the fifth part was good, where the story made sense and the characters were acceptable. (If I were being really nice, I would say that the fourth and sixth parts were okay too, but I'd rather not say that.)
